Kimble Ronald Skipper, 81, passed away Sunday, January 3, 2016 at Windsor Place in Columbus, MS.
Graveside service will be held Wednesday, January 6, 2016 at 3:30 p.m. at Oddfellows Cemetery, Macon, Ms. A Visitation will be held at Cockrell Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday from 2-3 p.m.

Mr. Skipper was born on October 11, 1935 in Picayune, Mississippi to the late Floyd E. and Josephine Whitfield Skipper. He attended Macon High School. After high school he entered the U.S. Air Force and served during the Korean Conflict. Mr. Skipper graduated from Mississippi State University and began a career in Oil Exploration Industry with Geophysical Service, Inc. Mr. Skipper worked in this field until he retired. After retiring, he returned to Macon and enjoyed golf, gardening, and his grandson Kyle. He is preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Bienville “B” Skipper and Eugene Skipper.

Those left to mourn his passing are his wife, Jimmye Jernigan Skipper of Macon; as well as one son, Ron Skipper of Dallas, Texas, grandson, Kyle Kimble Skipper; and sister, Dianne S. Jernigan.
